Developing Skills Through Experience

RAF² incubators provide hands-on training and practical experience in key areas like:

  • media and digital storytelling

  • civic and political engagement

  • entrepreneurship and social innovation

 

Delivered through a peer-to-peer model, these programs support participants in building collaborative leadership rooted in lived experience.

RAF² offers intergenerational mentorship that connects emerging leaders with experienced professionals.


Through these relationships, participants:

RAF² Talks →

Dialogue, Representation, and Leadership

RAF² Talks is a dialogue-based initiative that brings together youth and professional women to explore the realities, challenges, and opportunities facing Black women.

 

Through facilitated conversations, participants:

  • engage with relatable role models

  • build confidence and leadership identity

  • strengthen their sense of belonging and community

 

Originally developed as a digital and in-school series, RAF² Talks creates space for meaningful exchange and amplifies lived experiences across generations.

RAF² delivers a set of signature initiatives that bring its intergenerational model to life—connecting participants through mentorship, innovation, and national leadership experiences.

RAF Gala →
Celebrating Excellence and Visibility

The RAF Gala is a flagship national event recognizing and celebrating the achievements of Black Francophone Girls and Women across Canada.

More than a ceremony, the Gala creates a platform for:

  • Visibility and recognition

  • Community connection

  • Intergenerational inspiration

Quarterly gatherings focused on mentorship, sector learning, and leadership dialogue.

Intergenerational teams collaborate to develop projects in:

  • Civic technology

  • Media and communications

Legacy Fellows Track

A 6- to 12-month mentorship fellowship supporting emerging leaders across sectors including technology, media, politics, and health

Intergenerational Summit & Celebration

A national gathering featuring panels, recognition, youth spotlight, and celebration of leadership across generations.
